ABOUT US

18 GRADOS DESIGN is a Design-Build A/E (Architecture & Engineering) Company based in Puerto Rico focused on contemporary design and project development. Our staff encompasses the fields of architecture, civil and structural engineering, permitting services and construction management/development in association with mechanical, electrical, fire protection and geotechnical engineering disciplines. While being a relatively young firm, founded in 2013, the vast cumulative team experience joined at 18 GRADOS DESIGN benefits from a variety of work experiences on all sectors of the construction industry from small to large scale residential projects to complex large commercial and retail construction programs.

Our staff’s multidisciplinary experience, while working in previous firms, comes from the involvement in multiple stages of the design and development of locally renowned projects such as Ciudadela-Santurce, Dupont, Home Depot, AMGEN, and Best Buy, to name a few.

Among the projects that are currently in progress and/or completed by 18 GRADOS DESIGN are the Design/Build for the interior remodel, and site and electrical improvements of Original Footwear; the Pep Boys Auto expansion program with initially 7 new Auto Parts stores throughout the island (a collaboration with SM+A); Boehringer Pharmaceutical addition, and a Mixed-Use Development Conceptual Design, including a parking garage in a challenging site, for Putnam Bridge in Santurce.
